Congratulations to Oscar, who finished 11th, having won 16 games. Jithuni won 10 games and did really well too! Thank you to both of you for representing your state at such a prestigious event.
The event was won by Madhav Kamath from India. WYSC 26 will be in Kenya.

Oscar becomes the first Australian Junior Scrabble Champion
The first ever Australian Junior Scrabble Championship was run in August 2024, held in Sydney, NSW.
Oscar Ivanovski was Victoria's sole representative for the event, and, as Australia's highest ranked young player, was a favorite to
take out the title.
The event was a close run thing, with it going down to the last round to determine the title; and with a win over Ryder Lo in Round 7,
Oscar confirmed his victory and went undefeated!
